Christian is the Founder and CEO of Ingenium Digital Health Advisors, a boutique consulting firm focused on Accelerating the Adoption of Digital Health Innovation and of Ingenium Healthcare Advisors, focused on Guiding Healthcare Leaders to get the results they want. Starting out as a solo consultant, Ingenium Advisors now comprises a team of 15+ and a consortium of over a dozen expert advisors.

Born, raised, and educated as an Engineer in Germany, Christian started his career at IBM Global Services before joining the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where he worked for 12 years in various roles before launching Ingenium in 2012.

Matthew Faiman MD, MBA, FACP

Dr. Faiman, in addition to his role with Ingenium, currently serves as the Virtual Health Medical Director at NextCare Urgent Care in Mesa, Arizona.

From 2002-2021 he served as a Staff Physician at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Faiman obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree, Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and Medical Doctorate from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic in 2002.

In 2005, he became involved in Telehealth, developing innovative ways to apply Telemedicine programs at Cleveland Clinic. In 2015, he was appointed the Medical Director of Express Care Online, a service line providing on demand synchronous virtual visits to patients nation-wide.

Dr. Faiman is passionate about finding innovative ways to apply Telehealth both nationally and internationally.

Kathy Letendre, MHSA

As an experienced healthcare executive and champion of transformational improvement, she shares her expertise with leaders, helping them achieve unprecedented levels of excellence for themselves and their organizations. She has a reputation as a collaborative and passionate agent of change.

A graduate of Duke University and the University of Michigan School of Public Health, Kathy is a key member of Ingenium’s leadership and consulting team. In addition, Kathy is the President of Letendre & Associates where she advises organizations and leaders to create their excellence advantage.

Trevor Cunningham, MHA, MPH

Project Manager

Trevor Cunningham is a healthcare professional with continuous experience in the telehealth industry. Possessing specific abilities in project management, billing and reimbursement, and strategic planning, Trevor has led a team to advance telehealth initiatives across rural communities over the past 3 years.

Since joining Ingenium Digital Advisors in 2021, Trevor has worked alongside a unique team of consultants to accomplish all project tasks in a timely manner. He brings a new perspective to the team and will continue to develop new strategies to improve operational efficiencies.

A graduate of Indiana University’s Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health, Trevor holds two distinct master’s degrees in health administration and public health. Since graduating, Trevor has held the position of Project Director at the Indiana Rural Health Association, where he manages and operates two federally funded HRSA grants.

Trevor is known for creating a productive work environment and ensuring that project milestones are met. He has disseminated his telehealth work through many distinct outlets, including the American Public Health Association, Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and the Upper Midwest Telehealth Resource Center.

Craig DeLarge, MBA, MPH

Craig A. DeLarge is a digital healthcare strategist and mental health advocate at The Digital Mental Health Project, where he produces education programs and research which help behavioral health professionals improve adoption of their services using digital technology.

In his career, as a digital & healthcare marketer, strategist and educator, he has managed in and with world-class firms like Novo Nordisk, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck & Co., Takeda and Johnson & Johnson, as well as teaching at Temple University, Philadelphia University, Chestnut Hill College, St. Joseph’s University and Penn State University. His career is focused on “improving health” & “developing leaders”.

He holds bachelor’s and master’s degree in Marketing and Design Management from Philadelphia University (USA) (BSc), and from the University of Westminster (UK) (MBA). He is currently a graduate Public Health student at King’s College, London. He is also a certified professional coach and published author of The WiseWorking Handbook (2014).

He resides in Philadelphia, PA, USA.

Carrie Foote, BA, BS

Carrie Foote is an accomplished healthcare leader with more than 20 years of experience in operations, compliance, and telehealth program development. She is dedicated to expanding access to care in rural and underserved communities, a commitment that began over a decade ago while working at a regional nonprofit mental health agency.

Carrie partners with providers, policymakers, and community leaders to design sustainable telehealth programs, build compliance frameworks, and align operations with regulatory requirements. She has led initiatives to educate both professionals and community members on the value of telehealth, strengthening local capacity and raising awareness of virtual care as a vital tool for improving access.

A former Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, Carrie brings strategic leadership, regulatory expertise, and a collaborative approach. Known for translating complex requirements into actionable solutions, she helps organizations advance telehealth initiatives, streamline operations, and deliver better patient experiences.

Adam Block, PhD

Health Care Analytics &
Economics Advisor

Adam is a Harvard-trained health economist who has worked for 25 years at the intersection of hospitals, health insurance, government, and research. After receiving his PhD in 2007, he worked for Congress helping draft sections of the Affordable Care Act and then for CMS (the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) writing some of the original regulations building the Health Insurance Exchanges. From there, he spent five years reporting to CFOs in data analytics roles where he learned that most data vendors need some help showing return on investment.

Bridging the rigor of academic research with the practicality and expediency of business, Adam is the founder and principal of Charm Economics, LLC. Adam assists clients with Return-on-Investment modeling, external evaluation of business strategy, expert witness and arbitration case work, and business and financial analysis.

Adam graduated cum laude from Amherst College with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, from Harvard University with a PhD in health policy and economics and serves as an associate professor of health policy and management at the New York Medical College. He resides in New York, USA.

Jason Goldwater, MS, MPA, PMP is President and COO of Laurel Health Advisors, a small woman-owned business focused on health care innovation, quality, and equity.

Jason is an expert in telehealth strategic planning, implementation, evaluation and measurement with over two decades of experience leading projects on using telehealth to improve health care. He recently published a cost benefit study of telehealth that has been presented to Congress, the White House, and multiple Federal agencies. Jason developed a national framework for measuring the value of telehealth and its impact on clinical care for the National Quality Forum and served as Principal Investigator for a California Health Care Foundation grant on the use of telehealth for chronic disease management and care coordination.

He has written extensively on the impact of telehealth on care for vulnerable populations and has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.

Yael Harris, PhD, MHS

Yael Harris, PhD, MHS is CEO of Laurel Health Advisors, a small, disadvantaged, woman-owned small business focused on reducing health disparities through the use of technology.

Yael is a national expert in telehealth policy with over 16 years of experience leading Federal efforts to spearhead the use of telehealth to expand access and improve quality for underserved and vulnerable patient populations. In 2021, she presented on the cost benefit of telehealth to Congress and the White House. While Director of the Health Information and Quality at the Health Resources and Services Administration, she led quality and access efforts across all safety net providers. Yael also launched and co-chaired the cross-federal telehealth workgroup which aligned telehealth activities across the government.

Yael’s research has been published in numerous peer reviewed journals including the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Journal of Healthcare for the Poor and Underserved.

Erkan Hassan, PharmD, FCCM

Joe McMenamin, MD, JD

Joseph P. (“Joe”) McMenamin, MD, JD is a physician-attorney and the principal at McMenamin Law Offices, PLLC, a healthcare boutique in Richmond, Virginia concentrating on the law of digital health.

Joe advises institutional and individual telehealth service providers, academic medical centers, remote monitoring services, trade associations, telehealth platform companies, investors, and telecoms on a broad array of medico-legal questions arising from distance care and, more recently, from the application of augmented intelligence to health care in general and to telemedicine in particular. He writes and lectures extensively on these and related topics.

He also serves as general counsel to the Virginia Telehealth Network, and as a member of the Legal Resource Team of CTeL, the Center for Telemedicine and eHealth Law. He is board-certified in Legal Medicine, an Associate Professor of Legal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Fellow of the College of Legal Medicine.

Kasia Hein-Peters, MD

Howard Reis, MBA

Howard Reis is the President of HEALTHePRACTICES, a consulting firm specializing in telehealth.

He recently served as CEO of TheTeledentists, the only nationwide network of dentists providing video consultations for patients with dental emergencies. He continues to serve them as a Board member and advisor.

Howard’s first exposure to telemedicine was as a project manager at Nynex Science & Technology, managing early telemedicine trials with four Boston teaching hospitals. Howard has helped two separate teleradiology companies achieve Inc. 5000 status of fastest growing private companies.

His specialties include strategy planning, business development, sales, and marketing. Howard has an MBA in Finance from NYU and has published several articles on teledentistry, teleradiology, telecommunications and telemedicine.

Stacey Robertson, MFA

Stacey is a strategic growth consultant who applies tools borrowed from the digital advertising industry to help medical practices expand. She plans and executes strategic development plans including the implementation of telemedicine, web-assisted patient access, retention policies, phone and service improvements, new vendor relationships, and improved patient experiences.

Her team creates marketing presence and community awareness to help medical practices expand their regional footprint.
